Here's To The Dreamers Event Crushed Hearts By Showcasing Cagayan de Oro Artists

Yes we did it!
We mounted the show "Here's To The Dreamers" last night, February 11, 2014, at the Golden Stallion Suites as a fundraiser event.

This was intended to help us raise funds for four qualifiers of the World Championship of Performing Arts
(WCOPA) Team Philippines from the group Oro Teatro Bulawanon.

Ms. Rachelle Nazareno, Singer
Her voice and smile can make me melt.  A very hard-working graduating student whose talent landed her numerous invitations to events and a regular singing gig at an establishment with two branches.

Mr. Rupert Nellas, Singer
He can project raw and pure emotion by wringing out my heart with such pain by singing.  He was a finalist in Himig Atenista in his college days with his own composition and his accompaniment as his entry.

Mr. Arthur Nery, Singer
Flawless, spot-on-technique and X-factor (he is also a model) made many people follow him.  Hitting high notes that make you feel like flying is this guy's superpower.

and myself, Ms. Shaun Pilapil, Actress
I rely on paying attention to details.  Versatile acting thru different characters in theater and film are what I like to explore emotions with, whenever given the chance.

The said competition will be held in Long Beach, California on June 30 - July 9 2017.

Evening Full Of Emotions
The evening was filled with moving performances that took the audience in an emotional rollercoaster.  My mascara ran in the mid-part of the program, where some songs with the #insinsitib theme were performed.

Hard-working talents like those who performed that night deserve to have a shot at international competitions.
